	David M. Stone MD, FACS Services Offered About Dr. David M. Stone Dr. David Stone is a Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon and has been in practice since 1987. Dr. Stone carries the credentials to back up his fine reputation as a cosmetic surgery specialist. He spent six years in residency and fellowship training after four years of medical school (University of Illinois). This included two years of general surgery (Metro Group Hospitals, University of Illinois), three years of head and neck surgery (Northwestern University), and a prestigious one year fellowship in facial plastic surgery (Birmingham, Alabama). Dr. Stone was privileged to have trained under an internationally recognized expert in facial plastic surgery. Furthermore, he an Associate Professor at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Stone was selected by Orange Coast Magazine in January, 2008 as a "Top Doctor in Orange County". He received the Physician of Excellence award in the category of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, being the sole nominee in that specialty. Procedures Performed by Dr. Stone Dr. Stone performs rejuvenation surgery of the aging face and neck, including laser surgery. Eyelid surgery, minimal incision forehead and brow lifts and nasal plastic surgery are commonly performed. Facial and chin implants, scar revision and otoplasty are available. Tumescent liposuction of the face and neck can be performed under local or sedative anesthesia. Dr. Stone has performed many complicated revision rhinoplasties and can even offer complex facial reconstructive surgery for accident and cancer victims. Lip augmentation, injectible fillers, fat injections and other anti-wrinkle injections (Botox) are commonly requested. Many medical personnel and doctor's wives have sought out his services themselves because of his fine reputation as a skilled and caring physician. Surgical Facilities Surgical procedures are performed in the accredited outpatient surgery center of UC Irvine Medical Center. The surgical staff includes highly trained licensed anesthetists, registered nurses and medical assistants. Office Staff Dr. Stone's staff includes his office manager and nurse. Surgical assistants are available to help him in surgery, along with an anesthetist providing anesthesia services. Between Dr. Stone and his staff, Spanish and English languages are spoken fluently.
