Felizardo S. Camilon, M.D.

Felizardo S. Camilon, Jr., M.D., FAAP is board-certified, fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and Pediatric Bronchoesophagoscopy. Dr. Camilon's areas of expertise include pediatric airway reconstruction, pediatric head and neck tumors, pediatric ear and sinus diseases, and pediatric sleep disorders.

He received his medical degree from John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii and completed his Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery residency training at University of California, Irvine. A pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training was completed at Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. under the tutelage of Doctors Kenneth Grundfast and Gregory Milmoe. He did further work afterwards with Dr. Seymour Cohen, father of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

In addition to management and treatment of common pediatric problems as ear infections, sleep apnea, adenoid and tonsil disease, Dr. Camilon has unique expertise in complex, unusual pediatric areas. He has advanced training and experience in airway reconstructive procedures (laryngotracheal reconstruction), surgical treatment of pediatric head and neck tumors, pediatric sinus surgery using the latest computer-aided image guidance technology and the latest coblation technique for adenoid and tonsillar surgery. Dr. Camilon is an integral member of Children's Hospital of Orange County Craniofacial Team and Clinic.

Dr. Camilon is Board-Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, along with membership in the Orange County Society of Head-Neck Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and also a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is Associate Professor at University of California, Irvine Department of Otolaryngology and Chief of the Otolaryngology Section at Children's Hospital of Orange County for the past ten years. These positions allow Dr. Camilon to actively teach medical students, pediatric and otolaryngology residents at both campuses.

Dr. Camilon has been in Orange County for over twenty-four years.
